Dr. Nabil Ahmed Jarjes, Assistant Dean of Al-Noor University College for Administrative Affairs, participated in the membership of the discussion committee for the postgraduate student in the Basic Dental Sciences branch at the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul, Asmaa Youssif Thanoun, who is seeking to obtain a master’s degree in the subject of dental medications for her thesis titled (The effect of vitamin D3, an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, and its effect in treating chronic gingivitis).
The discussion took place on Wednesday, 12/8/2020, by a committee headed by Prof. Dr. Imad Abdul Jabbar Thanoun and including Asst. Prof. Dr. Nabil Ahmed, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maha Talal Abdul Fattah, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Fayhaa Azhar Mohieddin, who is supervising the thesis.
The student, Asmaa, is the daughter of the sheikh of calligraphers in the world, the researcher and calligrapher, the late Dr.
Youssif Thanoun, whom Al-Noor College had awarded the Pioneers Medal in a solemn ceremony that brought together pioneers of science, literature, and arts in Mosul, and who passed away weeks ago and was not able to attend his daughter’s discussion.
