The Arabic Language Department concluded the activities of its second season, which was held on March 19-20, 2023. The first day included the opening speech by the respected Head of the Arabic Language Department, Prof. Dr. Khazal Fathi Zaidan, followed by a speech by the respected Dr. Nabil Najeeb from the University of Mosul entitled “Biography of Dr. Abdulkhaleq Fadel and his memories,” followed by a series of lectures. The second day included the conference's recommendations and a celebration of Arab poetry, as many of the poets participating in the poetry celebration recited their poems, and the conference proceedings ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to them in appreciation of their efforts in making the conference and poetry celebration a success. Congratulations to the Arabic Language Department for the success of this second cultural conference, and congratulations to our university for this achievement.
