In celebration of World Thalassemia Day and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, Dean of Al-Noor University College, the college held its annual central celebration in collaboration with the Thalassemia Association in Nineveh. This grand event was held under the slogan "Hand in Hand with Thalassemia Patients," with the attendance of school students, thalassemia patients, their families, friends, as well as health officials and stakeholders.

During the central celebration held in the conference hall, two speeches were delivered: the first by Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, Dean of Al-Noor University College, and the second by Mr. Thaer Ibrahim Khalil, President of the Thalassemia Association in Nineveh. Additionally, two lectures were given by Professor Dr. Ahmed Yahya Dalal Bashi, professor in the Pharmacy Department at the college, and Dr. Medien Mohammed Fawzi, Vice President of the Association. Students from Ayn Al-Mustaqbal Private School presented various activities that added joy to the event with their childhood innocence. The college also presented a visual performance infused with poetic creativity through the poem "Red," written by Dr. Sajaa Ismail Khalil, a professor at the college holding a Ph.D. in Physics. Students from Al-Noor College presented an expressive performance titled "Dream." Finally, awards, certificates, and recommendations were distributed.
The celebration extended to the gardens of Al-Noor University, where they planted seedlings, flowers, and the students of Al-Noor colored their faces along with other voluntary activities.
