Amid Alnoor University's participation in the events of Science Week between Iraqi and Iranian universities, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and held in the holy city of Karbala with the presence of 100 Iranian universities and all Iraqi public and private universities, Alnoor University signed three memoranda of understanding with prestigious Iranian universities listed in the Shanghai Rankings of World Universities.
These universities are Tehran University,
Tarbiat Modares University, and Amirkabir University. The selection of these universities was based on their academic and research excellence.
On the sidelines of the week, Alnoor University also signed a cooperation and twinning agreement with Al-Kut University College. The signing of this agreement opens scientific horizons for Alnoor University’s faculty and students, allowing for academic exchanges, reciprocal visits, professional training, and participation in joint research published in global repositories with the faculty and students of the Iranian universities involved.
