In alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and out of Alnoor University's keenness to sustain the green cover and expand green areas, with the presence and participation of Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Alhajjar, President of Alnoor University. the Department of Administrative Affairs at the university organized a new tree-planting campaign inside the university campus on the morning of Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the participation was with A select group of students from the university’s colleges and scientific departments, along with their instructors, also took part.
Additionally, the main university nursery was reopened after being renovated and expanded. Dr. Nabeel Ahmed Jarjees Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, also participated in the campaign. Previously, the university had conducted a wide-scale tree-planting campaign during which its academic and student community planted one thousand saplings in the central median stretching from the main gate of the university in the Al-Shalalat area
toward the entrance of the city.
Planting saplings has been adopted as a regular tradition.
