Alnoor University hosts a number of members from the Ninawa Union of Writers and Authors to build new bridges of cooperation.

A delegation from the Ninawa Union of Writers and Authors, headed by poet Saad Mohammed, the Union’s president, visited Alnoor University. The delegation included poet Khalid Al-Yasari and poet Mohammed Jalal Al-Sayegh. They were received by Dr. Bashar Mahmoud, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, in the presence of Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, along with the scientific and media advisors, the Director of Cultural Relations, and the Head of Public Relations. The meeting was hosted by Professor Dr. Ahmed Qasim Al-Jum’a, and discussions took place regarding various possibilities for collaboration, with a particular focus on establishing a full partnership for organizing the upcoming session of the Abu Tammam Festival. Most of the details were agreed upon, with future meetings scheduled to finalize the remaining aspects of the dialogue.
