A meeting was held between the College of Engineering and the Technical Engineering College at Alnoor University, and the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul, to discuss organizing a joint engineering conference.

Alnoor University is keen to establish scientific cooperation between its colleges and their counterpart colleges in the universities of Nineveh, Iraq, and the world, in order to support the movement of scientific research and unify the efforts of academic staff regardless of their workplaces. In this context, the Colleges of Engineering and Technical Engineering at Alnoor University held a joint meeting with the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul to identify areas of cooperation in organizing a joint engineering conference between the two universities, as well as to share tasks and unify efforts. During the meeting, the key organizational and scientific aspects related to holding the conference were discussed, including defining the conference themes, forming the scientific and organizing committees, mechanisms for receiving and reviewing research papers, as well as the proposed timeline for holding the conference.
