A lecture in the Department of Radiological Techniques at Alnoor University on water environment pollution

A specialized scientific lecture on pollution in aquatic environments was delivered at the Department of Radiological Techniques at Alnoor University on Sunday morning, 14/12/2025
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Majd Muwaffaq Yaqoub, a faculty member of the department, and was entitled Microplastic Pollution in Aquatic Environments. It addressed the concept of microplastics, their sources, their environmental and health impacts, and their increasing risks to aquatic ecosystems and living organisms, with an emphasis on the role of scientific awareness in mitigating this phenomenon
The lecture session was supervised by Professor Dr. Hanaa Ihsan Albaroudi, Head of the Department of Radiological Techniques, who emphasized the importance of holding such scientific events in enhancing environmental awareness among students and linking scientific disciplines with contemporary issues of humanitarian and environmental significance
