- Following up on the progress of studies in the college to achieve its goals and working on the continuous consolidation of the scientific, intellectual and educational status.
- Implementing the decisions of the College Council.
- Approval of the recommendations of the department or branch council.
- Approval of the distribution of study materials and semester units to faculty members and lecturers.
- Approval to purchase or import laboratory and scientific equipment, books and other supplies.
-Approval of the recommendations of the committees formed in the college.
- Approval of the disbursement of rewards to those who provide services to the college or contribute to its development.
- Sending college members inside Iraq.
- The Dean of the College may delegate some of his duties to his assistant, department head, or branch head.
- The head of the department exercises the authority of the dean in universities that consist of departments.
