Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Noor University College, Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajar, the guidance of the Head of Dentistry Department, Prof. Talal Hameed Al-Salman, and the participation of the department’s instructors, who are Dr. Emtithal Ali Mohamed, Dr. Zeena Dubyan Mohamed Zaki, and Dr. Raed Burhan, and twenty of second-year students in the Department of Dentistry. A solidarity scientific visit was organized to Ibn Al-Atheer Teaching Hospital, during which they made financial donations and gifts for children with Leukemia.

Al-Noor University College hosted the introductory workshop for the first international conference on sustainable development, organized by the Northern Technical University, since Al-Noor University College is one of the colleges that supports the conference. Where the university delegation was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Rafea, President Assistant of the Northern Technical University, and this workshop included a presentation of the conference’s themes and the publication point of the accepted research in the conference, as well as a detailed presentation on the registration and submission mechanism with the presence of a number of faculty members of Al-Noor College, who expressed their willingness to participate in this scientific conference.

Al-Noor University College finalized the activities of its cultural week, which it held on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of its founding where the historian and researcher, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Allaf presented an interesting lecture on the Emergence of Private Higher Education and its Present: Al-Noor University College as a Model.. Then the final match of the College Futsal Championship was held in the Al-Noor University College between Department of Pharmacy team English Department team and ended with the victory of the Department of Pharmacy team.. Prof. Ibrahim Al-Allaf was awarded the college shield with a certificate of appreciation in honor of his participation.. Certificates of appreciation were also given to all participants in the cultural week.

The activities of the fourth day of the cultural week at Al-Noor University College

On the fourth day of the cultural week at Al-Noor University College, a poetic celebration was held in which poems were presented in Arabic, English and translated poems by a number of Iraqi poets in Nineveh. Then a lecture was presented on the pioneering art of photography in Nineveh, Murad Al-Daghestani, by Prof. Dr. Najman Yassin. After that, The Dean Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Nabil Ahmed Gerges, inaugurated a photographic exhibition for Murad Al-Daghestani.. He also distributed shields and certificates of appreciation to the participants and also opened the charitable market. On the other hand, the Governor of Nineveh attended the closing ceremony of the fourth annual festival of Dentistry students, where he presented a valuable speech and distributed gifts to the winners in Researches, scientific poster, tooth carving and chess competitions.
