General conditions for admission for the academic year (2023/2024) at Al-Noor University College
1. Must have a certificate of Iraqi preparatory studies, or an equivalent certificate credited by the approval of the General Directorate of Education in the governorate, and according to the admission entries for each specialization.
2- To be born in the year 1993 upwards for those applying for the morning study, but those born in the year 1991 downwards are entitled to apply for the evening study.
3- Graduates of vocational centers (Al-Mu’tasim Center, Al-Waleed Center, Al-Moataz Center) and professional centers in which the study period is three years and have taken the ministerial exam (baccalaureate) are exclusively entitled to apply to private colleges and universities according to the inputs for each specialty.
4- Should be free to study. It is not permissible to combine a job and study (at the same time) in morning colleges and universities. This includes all government institutions employees and they are required to obtain a study leave from their departments on the basis of the instructions in force. furthermore, it is not permissible to combine two studies as well, if proven otherwise, a warrant is to the Ministry / Department of Private University Education to cancel his acceptance.
5- The student must pass the medical examination in accordance with the conditions specific to each study. Students accepted into universities and private colleges are required to examine (CBC) or (Electrophori’s – Hb) at the relevant examination centers. The blind student (who meets the conditions) has the right to apply for appropriate humanitarian studies.
6- A student accepted in governmental universities and colleges has the right to apply for admission to private universities and colleges according to the electronic form and the principle of differentiation rate and according to the entries and qualifications of application for the year (2023/2024).
7- Students of the Kurdistan Region who are graduates of secondary schools (recognized by the Ministry of Education) can apply for admission to private universities and colleges.

The payment mechanism is approved by the College’s Accounting Department in four installments of the value of the annual tuition fees.
The student who wishes to obtain a discount in tuition fees submits a written request to the office of the dean of the college, stating the reasons for their desire to reduce their tuition fees. The request is then referred to the relevant committee for consideration.
The request of the student seeking a tuition fees discount is presented to the relevant committee in order to study the student’s case. The committee assesses the student's situation, reasons for requesting the reduction, and the extent to which the conditions for the reduction apply to the student's case.
The mechanism announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Private University Education / Central Admission is based on the admission channels (people with disabilities and special needs - free scholarships - Study in Iraq Initiative) for (Arab) and (foreign) students and which are announced in the student guide for admission to private universities and colleges in Iraq.
Through the college’s main pages on social media. Classified advertisements are published for job vacancies in the public and private sectors that match the graduation qualifications of college graduates.
- The application is submitted through an electronic platform launched via the specialized online portal of the Private Higher Education Department.
- Student data is uploaded to the system based on data from the Ministry of Education.
- The student uses the exam number with a password to retrieve his data within the system.
- Every student has the right to apply to six (6) different colleges within universities or private colleges.
- The process of selecting accepted students and auditing their files is through the relevant committees, as the system provides electronic auditing and comparison interfaces according to the highest averages.
- Automatically adjust student admission entries electronically during application, in line with the standards approved for the academic year 2022/2023.
- The student must be a graduate of the preparatory study for the biology branch only for the academic year 2022/2023 exclusively.
- After the student is accepted by one of the universities, the student’s other admission options will automatically be deleted and an electronic notification will be sent to the Department of Private University Education for approval.
The student’s average for applicants to the faculties of dentistry and pharmacy must not be less than (93%, with a total of 651) after adding the grade (first round, added language) only.
- Students applying for private government education and private education are entitled to apply through the free scholarship channel.
- If the student is accepted into the free scholarship, the rest of the admission channels will be blocked.
- Admission to the free scholarship is based on the highest competitive rate.

The student's registration will be canceled if he is accepted into another university/college, or if he studies outside Iraq, or if he is appointed after submitting a written request by the student within one working week from the date of submission.
7- A student accepted in governmental universities and colleges has the right to apply for admission to private universities and colleges according to the electronic form and the principle of differentiation rate and according to the entries and qualifications of application for the year (2023/2024).
8- The student who has had his registration canceled in one of the private universities or colleges has the right to reapply according to the electronic form and the principle of selection based on the inputs and conditions of application for the academic year (2023/2024), provided that the student does not apply for admission to the same department in which his registration was canceled
7- Students of the Kurdistan Region who are graduates of secondary schools (recognized by the Ministry of Education) can apply for admission to private universities and colleges.
The student submits the following documents to the relevant authority:
1. The original document of the enhanced preparatory school certificate, endorsed by the General Directorate of Education in the province, or the original documents of other documents (according to the admission channel), must be certified authentically by May 26, 2024, and a written commitment to that effect must be submitted to the college registration office. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the student's admission.
2. A colored copy of the nationality certificate and the Iraqi civil status identity card or the unified national card.

4. Medical examination form (in accordance with Health Fitness System No. 5 of 1990 and its controls and conditions), taking into account the following:
A - The student will not be registered if the aforementioned form is not submitted at all.
B- The original form must be submitted and a copy of it is not accepted.
T - The result of the examination will be noticed by the entity to which the student is nominated directly, and in the event that he is not fit for the study to which he is nominated, the “Department of Private University Education” will be contacted to consider his acceptance according to his health fitness.
D - The student has the right to appeal the examination result to the Committees Department/Appeals Committee at the Ministry of Health through the entity to which he is nominated for admission.
5. Accepted students undertake that they have not had their registration canceled due to cheating, attempted cheating, or disciplinary penalties.

Instructions and requirements for applying to Al-Noor University College are subject to the student guide for the year 2023/2024. Like other private universities and colleges in Iraq, applications are submitted through a special electronic program by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Private University Education/Central Admissions. The application steps begin as follows:
1. Create a wallet through one of the mobile phone companies (Zain Cash or Asia Hawala) via the mobile phone line for the student applying for admission to the college.
2. Apply electronically at the electronic link (www.pe-gate.org) via a message that reaches the student via the wallet (Zain Cash or Asia Hawala).
3. Create an electronic account for the student applying to the college.
4. After creating the electronic account, the student’s data is filled out.
5. The applying student visits the audit center at Al-Noor University College for the purpose of validating his data.
Especially students applying for private channels (children of martyrs’ families, children of professors, and children of degree holders...etc.)
6. Setting an appointment for electronic reservation for students who are middle school graduates who do not have the examination number, as well as for students who face a defect in their data.
7. After matching the data - electronic forms are filled out with (4) four options by the student within the general application channel, in addition to two forms for those applying through the private channels.
