Asst. Lect.Salah Yaseen Rasheed

Assistant instructor Salah Yaseen Rasheed was awarded his bachelor degree in 2011-2012 in the field of Linguistics & ELT/ University of Mosul. He immediately joined post-graduate studies in 2012-2013 and specialized in the field of English Phonetics & Phonology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abbas J. Rahim and was awarded his M.A. degree. In 2016-2017, he worked as an instructor at the University of Mosul teaching at different colleges (College of Education for Humanities/ College of Nursing). In 2018-2019, he joined Al-Noor university College as an instructor teaching English Phonetics & Phonology at the college of Education, ESP (English for Special Purposes) & Medical Terminology at the Department of Dentistry, Department of Radiology, and other departments. His research "Iraqi Third-year Students' Command of English Intonation at Mosul University" was published in the "Journal of Applied Languages & Linguistics" and published other researches in local journals. He attended a number of conferences and symposiums at various national universities. The researcher is interested in the field of English Phonetics & Phonology specifically the areas of suprasegmentals, intonation, Aspects of Connected Speech, & NLP (natural Language Processing).
