Asst. Prof. Dr.Haider Mahmood Abdulrazzaq

Haider Mahmoud Abdel Razzaq is an Iraqi poet, playwright, and academic. • He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language Arts from the College of Education - University of Baghdad, in 1968.  He obtained a Master’s degree for his thesis entitled (Books of Letters of Meaning - A Systematic Grammatical Study -) from the College of Education - Al-Mustansiriya University. He obtained a doctorate degree for his thesis entitled (Abbas Hassan’s Grammatical Efforts - Study and Evaluation) from the College of Arts - University of Mosul. He obtained the title of Assistant Professor on 10/4/2021. He worked as a teacher of the Arabic language in Iraq, Algeria, and Libya, then as an official in the Department of Literary and Cultural Affairs in the Directorate of School Activities, then as a specialist supervisor, then as a director of the Preparation and Training Department in the General Directorate of Nineveh Education. He worked with the late Dr. Abdulaziz Abdullah to establish a branch of the Open Educational College in 2000 and taught there for ten years as a professor of grammar and prosody. He supervised many graduation researches and defended a number of master’s theses in the colleges of Arts, Education, and Basic Education at the University of Mosul. He currently works as a lecturer in the Arabic Language Department at Al-Noor College, National University. • Member of the Union of Authors and Writers in Iraq. • Member of the General Union of Arab Writers. Member of the Teachers Union. Associate member of the Journalists Syndicate. • Member of the editorial board of Al-Hadba newspaper from its founding until 2003. He sponsors young writers and publishes their literary productions there. His poems have been published since the mid-sixties of the last century in Iraqi and Arab newspapers. • He participated in literary and cultural festivals and seminars held by the University of Mosul and the General Union of Writers - Nineveh Branch, and in the Al-Mirabad and Abu Tammam poetry festivals. He participated in the first International Arab Poetry Festival, which was held by the Association of Educational Teachers, Nineveh Branch, in cooperation with the Arab Council for Academics and Competencies, the Federation of Afro-Asian Universities, and the Deanship of the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul on August 25-26, 2021. • The General Union of Writers and Authors in Iraq - Nineveh Branch honored him with (Irfan Nineveh). He was honored on the occasion of Science Day with the Scholars Medal in 2002. • He won first place in the poetry competition held by the Central Teachers Syndicate in 2001. The poet published: - (The First Trees’ Competition), a poetry collection by the University of Mosul in 1976. - (They Make the Dawn), a poetry collection about Ministry of Culture and Information in 1987. - (A Flower for the Sea and Another for the Wind) a poetry collection in the city of Mosul in 2001. - (Some of the Flames of Sadness) a poetry collection in the city of Mosul in 2002. - (On the Pavement of Memories) a poetry collection about the General Directorate of Nineveh Education in the year. 2010. - (Me and Mosul), a poetry collection published by Noon Printing and Publishing House in 2018. - (Close to Sadness, Far from Poetry), a poetry collection published by Mashki House in 2018. - (The Tigris Will Not Stop Its Flow), a poetry collection published by Noon Printing and Publishing House in 2018. 2019 - (Ashjan Ula), a poetry collection published by Mashki House in 2020. - (The Sword), a poetry play published in parts in Al-Hadbaa newspaper and presented by Al-Rowad Troupe in Mosul - directed by the artist Rakan Al-Allaf in 1984. - There are manuscript collections of poetry awaiting their turn for publication. • Scientific research: - (The accusative case on removing the vowel in Arabic), a research published in the College of Basic Education Research Journal issued by the College of Basic Education - University of Mosul - Volume Three - Issue Three - December 2006. - (An opinion on adding letters to the meaning, and the length Movements in language or necessity) Research published in the Journal of Education and Science issued by the College of Education - University of Mosul - Volume Fifteen - Issue Three - 2008. - (When and where they are used in the Holy Qur’an) Research published in the Journal of Al-Rafidain Arts issued by the College of Arts - University Mosul - Issue Fifty-Fourth, 2009. - (A New Opinion on the Origin of (Mukhla’ Al-Basit)), research published in the Tikrit University Journal of Human Sciences, Volume (27), Issue (2), Jumada Al-Thani 1441 AH - February 2020 AD. ​
