Dr. Abdul Ghani Muhammad Dhaher, Assistant Professor. He joined Al-Noor University College as head of the Department of Dental Industry Technologies in November 2018, then he taught in the Anesthesia Department to teach chemistry in its various branches. He obtained a master’s degree in chemistry in 1978 from the College of Science - University of Mosul, then a doctorate in chemistry (thorium and uranium complexes) University of Manchester - England in (1985) under the supervision of Professor Kenneth Bucknall. He worked as a teacher and researcher at the University of Mosul and the University of Duhok. He also worked as a head of a research team, head of a research and development department, director of a research center, and an expert in the Atomic Energy Organization, the Military Industrialization Authority, and the Ministry of Industry. He taught various topics in chemistry for undergraduate students at various levels and postgraduate students, master’s and doctoral students. He published (46) scientific papers in international and local scientific journals in the field of analytical chemistry and the chemistry of transition element complexes. He also documented (35) purely applied studies in the Atomic Energy Organization, the Military Industrialization Authority, and the Ministry of Industry. Dr. Abdel-Ghani supervised (8) master’s theses and (5) doctoral dissertations. He was chairman or member of many scientific committees, editorial boards, and discussion committees for graduate students. Dr. Abdel-Ghani participated in research or attended a number of scientific conferences and seminars. He received many books of thanks and appreciation and various awards, most notably the Scholars Medal from the Presidential Office in (1999) for his distinguished scientific biography.
