University\u2019s openness to international universities and research centers and its efforts to enhance academic cooperation in heritage preservation, a delegation from the university, headed by\u2026<a href=\"https:\/\/cv.alnoor.edu.iq\/ar\/usersaccounts\/nabil.hussein\/\"> Dr. nabil nooraldeen hussein<\/a>The delegation was led by the Director of the Al-Noor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation, with the participation of Dr. Omar Jassam, Head of the Lamasu Organization for Culture and the Archaeological Interface at Al-Noor University, on a scientific visit to the excavation authorities at Dokuz Eylul and Ege Universities in Izmir, Turkey.\n\nThe delegation held discussions with a group of distinguished archaeology professors and scholars, including Professor Dr. Cumhur Taneriver, Head of the Archaeological Authority for excavations in the ancient city of Smyrna in Izmir and Professor of Archaeology at Ege University, Turkey.\n\nAnd Professor Dr. Duygu Akar, an archaeologist and faculty member at Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey.\n\nDuring the meeting, an agreement was reached to launch future joint projects in the fields of cultural heritage preservation and the exchange of research expertise.\n\nAlnoor University also extended an official invitation to the two Turkish universities to participate in the Archaeological Tourism Conference that the university will organize from 11\u201312 October, with the participation of researchers and experts from Iraq and abroad.<br \/>In this context, Professor Dr. Cumhur Taneriver said: \u201cThe partnership with Al-Noor University represents an important opportunity to exchange academic and research expertise in the field of archaeology, particularly regarding heritage conservation and the protection of archaeological sites, which strengthens the cooperation ties between Iraq and Turkey in this vital field.\u201d\n\nProfessor Dr. Duygu Akar also highlighted the importance of the cooperation, saying: \u201cWe are pleased with Al-Noor University\u2019s scientific openness, and we look forward to joint projects that help build a new generation of researchers capable of preserving both global and local cultural heritage.\u201d\n\nThe visit included a field tour for the delegation from Alnoor University and the Lamasu Organization to several archaeological sites in Izmir, as well as a visit to the city\u2019s Archaeological Museum, as part of learning about Turkish experiences in artifact preservation and protection.\n\nFor his part, Dr. Nabil Nour Al-Din commented that this step comes as part of Al-Noor University\u2019s strategy to strengthen its scientific presence at the regional and international levels, contributing to the development of academic
