Preservation of Cultural Heritage at Alnoor University continues its efforts aimed at documenting Iraq\u2019s civilizational memory and safeguarding the cultural heritage of the city of Mosul <br \/>In this context, the center organized, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, a specialized scientific workshop entitled<br \/>(The excavations of the University of Mosul in the palace and library of King Ashurbanipal)<br \/>\u0642\u062f\u0651\u0645\u0647\u0627 <a href=\"https:\/\/cv.alnoor.edu.iq\/ar\/usersaccounts\/nabil.hussein\/\">Dr. nabil nooraldeen hussein<\/a>the director of Alnoor Center, in cooperation with the College of Archaeology at the University of Mosul, in the Dr. Behnam Abu Alsoof Hall<br \/><br \/>The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance that included Professor Dr. Wael Alnahhas, Dean of the College of Arts at Alnoor University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Qasim Aljum\u2019a, Head of the Department of Archaeological Tourism, along with a number of researchers, professors, and postgraduate students. The discussions were rich with ideas and insights on ways to employ scientific documentation and modern digital technologies in the study of Iraqi archaeological sites.<br \/><br \/>Dr. Nabil Noor aldin delivered an extensive documentary presentation on the four excavation seasons carried out by the University of Mosul at the Palace and Library of King Ashurnasirpal, showing that these research efforts represent an important phase in restoring the features of ancient Nineveh. He also addressed analytically the modern methodologies adopted by the Alnoor Center in archiving and analyzing archaeological data, as part of its project aimed at digitizing Mosuli heritage and making it accessible to researchers in Iraq and abroad.<br \/><br \/>At the conclusion of the workshop, Alnoor Center presented a documented record containing the results of the excavations and high-resolution archival photograph to the College of Archaeology at the University of Mosul as an expression of its appreciation for the college\u2019s pioneering scholarly role in supporting field research, and to emphasize the importance of cooperation among universities in preserving Iraq\u2019s historical memory.<br \/><br \/>Dr. Nabil Nour Aldin affirmed that Alnoor Center is working to build an integrated system for documenting Iraqi heritage through academic research tools and modern technologies, explaining that \u201cMosul represents the heart of this project, with its wealth of civilizational landmarks that deserve to be presented to the world with a precise and responsible scientific vision.<br \/><br \/>This event comes as part of Alnoor University\u2019s program to promote scientific research in the fields of heritage, archaeology, and cultural legacy, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals that call for the protection of cultural heritage as an
