Asst. Prof. Dr.Nabeel Mohammed Jawad

Dr. Nabil is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Chemistry who joined Al-Noor University College in September 2019, to be a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy. Dr. Nabil obtained his PhD in 1979 from the University of Wales Medical School, Cardiff UK in Clinical Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Peter Davies. In July 1979, Dr. Nabil joined the University of Mosul as a faculty member in the College of Medicine to teach clinical chemistry. Later in 1992, Dr. Nabil was a co-founder of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul, and was then appointed as the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at that college. He served as Director of the Medicinal Plants Research Unit at the University of Mosul (1998-2003). In early 2003, Dr. Nabil was appointed Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul. Dr. Nabil supervised a number of master’s and doctoral students. He also participated and attended a large number of national, regional and international conferences.
