This academic year, Al-Noor University proudly reaffirms the active role of its officially recognized Student Union, a unified body dedicated to representing the interests, welfare, and academic success of all students across our 11 academic faculties.
As the university continues to expand its academic programs and community footprint, the Student Union serves as the vital bridge between the student body and the university’s executive leadership. The union ensures that student perspectives are integrated into major institutional decisions, from campus sustainability initiatives to academic resource allocation.
An Inclusive Mandate: Undergraduate and Postgraduate Representation
To guarantee that every student has a voice, the Al-Noor University Student Union is structurally designed to represent the entirety of the student population.
In accordance with the university’s institutional governance policies, the union’s official mandate explicitly states:
“The Al-Noor University Student Union is the official, recognized representative body for all enrolled students. The union’s leadership and representative council act on behalf of both the undergraduate and postgraduate student populations at the university level, ensuring equitable advocacy and support for all academic tiers.”
Driving Campus and Community Impact
The Student Union goes beyond administrative representation, actively leading campus life and local community outreach. Student representatives are instrumental in organizing the university’s public-facing initiatives, heavily supporting events such as the annual charity fairs, cultural art exhibitions, and student-led environmental awareness campaigns.
