Professor Dr. Samir Khalaf Abdullah participates as a committee member in the PhD defense of a postgraduate student at Zakho University.

Professor Dr. Samir Khalaf Abdullah, a faculty member at Al-Noor University, participated as a committee member and supervisor in the PhD defense of postgraduate student Nagham Mohammad Azzo for her dissertation submitted to Zakho University, titled "Diversity of Endophytic Fungi in Two Quercus Species from Forests in Duhok and Study of Their Antagonistic Activity Against Some Phytopathogenic Fungi."

The defense took place on Sunday, June 30, 2024, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Salah Mahdi Al-Badr from Knowledge University in Erbil. The committee also included Assistant Professor Dr. Saleh Issa Mohammad from the National University of Science and Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Jasim Mohammad Abdo from Zakho University, Assistant Professor Dr. Khattab Ahmed Mustafa from Sulaimani University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Eraz Ramadan Issa from Zakho University. The student received an "Excellent" grade after successfully defending her dissertation.
