Requirements for Applying to Morning Studies.

1- The applicant must hold an Iraqi secondary school certificate or an equivalent certificate, validated by the General Directorate of Education in the governorate, according to the admission requirements specific to each major.

2- The applicant must be born in 1994 or later; however, students born in 1990 with an average of (90%) are allowed to apply for the morning study program.

3- Graduates of vocational centers (Al-Mu’tasim Center, Al-Waleed Center, and Al-Mu'taz Center) and vocational centers with a study duration of three years who have taken the ministerial exam (Baccalaureate) exclusively can apply to private universities and colleges according to the specific requirements for each major.

4- The student must be fully dedicated to their studies and cannot combine work and study (at the same time) in morning universities and colleges. This includes all employees of government institutions. To continue their studies, they must obtain a study leave from their departments according to the applicable regulations. Additionally, students cannot enroll in both studies, and if proven otherwise, a notification will be sent to the Ministry/Directorate of Private University Education to cancel their acceptance.

5- The student must pass a medical examination according to the specific conditions for each program. Accepted students in private universities and colleges are required to undergo ( CBC ) or ( Electrophori is – Hb ) at designated medical centers. Student with Vision Loss (who meet the specified conditions) are permitted to apply for suitable humanities programs.

6- A student’s enrollment will be canceled if they are accepted into another university/college, study abroad, or obtain employment after submitting a written request within one week of the application date.

7- Students accepted into government universities and colleges may apply for admission to private universities and colleges according to the electronic application form and the principle of preference based on the inputs and application conditions for the year (2024/2025).

8- A student whose enrollment has been canceled in one of the private universities may reapply according to the electronic application form and the principle of preference, based on the inputs and application conditions for the year (2024/2025), provided that the student does not apply to the same department in which their enrollment was canceled.

9- Students from the Kurdistan Region who have graduated from secondary education (recognized by the Ministry of Education) can apply for admission to private universities and colleges.
