Alnoor University is ranked first among the universities in Nineveh in the Iraqi Universities Debate World Cup.

On Sunday, January 5, 2025, teams from the University of Mosul, University of Nineveh, Northern Technical University, University of Hamdaniya, University of Tal Afar, Alnoor University, Al-Hadbaa University, and Al-Qabas College of Higher Education competed in the Iraqi Universities Debate. The competition, organized by the International Academy for Leadership and Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, was hosted and supported by Alnoor University for the universities of Nineveh. The debates were judged by a skilled panel of judges, with all matches concluding with a victory for the Alnoor University student team, who earned the opportunity to compete in the Northern Region Universities debate, which will also be hosted by Alnoor University. At the end of the competition, certificates were distributed to the judges,
debating students,
team supervisors,
the organizational team of the International Academy for Leadership and Development,
the organizing team of Alnoor University,
and the Media and Government Communication Department at Alnoor University.
