On Thursday morning, 5/9/2019, the representative of His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region opened the Middle East Exhibition for Education, Technology and Students, then toured around the exhibition before the media conference began at the front of the hall in front of the exhibition pavilions. At the conference, the opening session of which began the exhibition, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Humaim, head of the Sunni Endowment, gave an eloquent and influential speech in which he talked about the evidence of knowledge in the Holy Qur’an and touched on the Kurdish figures who have increased the richness of cultural and civilizational life. He was followed by His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports in Iraq, Dr. Mohammed Riyad Al-Obaidi delivered his speech in which he focused on the importance of science in securing the cultural future. Then, the representative of His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region gave a warm welcome speech in which he thanked the contributors and attendees.
In this exhibition, under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, Dean of Al-Noor University College, the college’s pavilion shined with its organization and facades, which are the result of the efforts of Mr. Ghassan Mohammed Sadoun, the follow-up officer at Al-Noor College, and Ahmed Mahmoud Ali, one of the college’s prominent figures. The pavilion was also distinguished by its smooth dialogue with its visitors and the success of its two stars, Basma Ibrahim Abbou and Noor Matti Behnam, in managing it and providing comprehensive information about the college and studying there. It was enriched by the presence and follow-up of Mr. Ali Ashour, Director of Student Affairs, and Mr. Mahmoud Fayez, Director of Quality Management, who greatly supported the nature of giving correct information about the college. ..
The pavilion received extensive visits from officials and dignitaries, and what is striking is the intensity of people’s visits to the pavilion and their inquiries about studies and their desires to have their children accepted into the college.
The most prominent visitors to the pavilion include Dr. Ahmed Riyad Al-Obaidi, the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Alan Hama Saeed Saleh, the Minister of Education in the Kurdistan Region, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education in the Kurdistan Region, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Humaim, Head of the Sunni Endowment Office, Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri, former Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Khair Al-Ghabani, President of the International University Association, Dr. Walid Zein Al-Din, representative of His Excellency the Lebanese Minister of Higher Education, the Grants Officer in the Ministry, Mr. Deputy Minister of Planning in the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Deputy Minister of Education in the region, Mr. Director General of Education in the region, the representative of UNESCO, the representative of British universities, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Naimi, official of the Ambassadors Club of Humanity and Peace and an elite group of male and female ambassadors of peace and goodwill
The college media, who produced the pavilion’s posters and visuals through the work of the creative editor, Abdel Karim Ibrahim, and the creative designer, Ahmed Bassem, were present, led by its director, Thamer Mayouf, and with the creative lens of Ahmed Mahmoud, to document the photo and video"
