At Al-Noor University College, a research study compares William Blake and Gibran Khalil Gibran

"The Babylon Journal of Humanities, a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the University of Babylon, Iraq, in its third issue of Volume 28 for the year 2020, featured a research article by Dr. Maisar Qasim Al-Khashab, a lecturer in the English Language Department at Al-Noor University College. The article, titled ""The Lamb and the Flute: Parallel Symbols in the Poetry of William Blake and Gibran Khalil Gibran,"" is a comparative study of the poets focusing on Sufi symbolism, the emphasis on nature, and the relationship between humans and religion through various examples.
Mr. Maisar Qasim Al-Khashab previously presented this research at the First International Conference on Linguistic and Humanities Studies, organized by the University of Al-Hamdaniya in collaboration with the University of Babylon, held from November 20th to 21st, 2019, under the theme ""Our Spectrums is Our Path to Progress and Advancement."" The University of Babylon sponsored the publication of his research through its scientific journal."
