Close Look at Al-Noor University Council, Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, President of the University

Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar assumed the position of President of Al-Noor University pursuant to a ministerial order from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He is the first president of the university. Dr. Yassin Al-Hajjar was one of the track and field champions. He obtained his master's degree from Wayne State University in the United States of America and earned a Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sports Sciences with a specialization in Sports Physiology from the University of Mosul. He was granted the title of professorship and subsequently served as the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul. He later became the dean of Al-Noor College before its transformation into a university, and upon its transition, he was elected as its president under the name Al-Noor University.
