Close Look at Al-Noor University Council

Dr. Yassar Yahya Al-Tamer has assumed the position of Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Noor University. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Mosul in 1969, followed by a Master's degree in Clinical Chemistry from Surrey University in England in 1974. He completed his Ph.D. at the same university in 1978. He has been a faculty member at the College of Medicine at Mosul University since 1978, where he later became the head of the Biochemistry Department. He also served as an assistant to the dean of the College of Education and as the director of scientific affairs at Mosul University's presidency. His last position in government universities was as the Assistant President of Nineveh University. At Al-Noor University, he served as the head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques until it transitioned into Al-Noor University, where he assumed the position of Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies.
