Al-Noor University has made significant progress in the July 2024 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of Citations. The university now ranks 5th among Iraqi private universities and 25th among all Iraqi universities, both public and private. This advancement is due to a notable increase in the number of academic citations from the university's intellectual output, reaching 3,034 citations compared to 1,819 citations last year, when it ranked 14th among private universities.
