A professor from the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Noor University, participated in the doctoral thesis defense of a student at the University of Tikrit.

Assistant Professor Dr. Taha Hussein Al-Salem, a faculty member in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Noor University, participated in the doctoral thesis defense of Saja Qahtan Nassif. Her thesis, submitted to the College of Science at the University of Tikrit, is titled
(Assessment of Hydrogeological Conditions in Industrial Expansion Areas North of Baiji.) The defense committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Susan Hamid Faisal from the University of Tikrit and included members Professor Dr. Hamid Hassan Abdullah from the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Raad Hobbi Arzoughy, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Fadhil Abed, Professor Dr. Mohammed Rashid Aboud, and Professor Dr. Sabar Abdullah Saleh, all from the University of Tikrit.
