The Human Rights Division at Alnoor University organizes a special workshop on marriage contracts outside the court.
In the presence of Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Alnoor University, the Human Rights Division at Alnoor University held a special workshop as part of the Continuing Education Program on the topic of "Marriage Contracts Outside the Court and Their Impact on the Rights of the Wife" on the morning of Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The workshop was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud, a faculty member of the College of Law and featured three lectures by law professors from the university. The first lecture, titled "Reasons for the Tendency to Conclude Marriage Contracts Outside the Court," was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Mohammed Suleiman Al-Jadarchi, Dean of the College. The second lecture, titled "The Negative Implications of Marriage Outside the Court on the Wife's Rights," was given by Dr. Rana Saad Al-Sufi. The third lecture, "Penalties Associated with Marriage Contracts Outside the Court," was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Faris Ahmed Ismail.
