Alnoor University hosted a symposium on social diversity and its impact on social peace in Nineveh, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Qidar Ahmed Mahmoud. The event, attended by the university president, Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, featured presentations by Assistant Lecturer Qidar Ahmed Mahmoud on “Constitutional Protection of Social Diversity Rights,” Dr. Amer Madi on “The Challenges of Social Diversity and the Foundations of Social Peace,” and Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Muhammad Suleiman, Dean of the College of Law , on “Ethnic Diversity as a Civilizational Manifestation.” Additionally, Dr. Ahmed Saeed Rashid Altaee, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department, delivered a presentation on “The Psychological and Physical Effects of Gender-Based Violence.” The symposium was held on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
