Dr. Taha Al-Salem , Head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering in Alnoor University, has published a paper in the Journal of
Journal of Healthcare and Nursing Research
The paper is titled
"Fluoride Ion Concentration in Groundwater of the Bashiqa Area in Mosul City and its Impact on Human Health."
This research is based on the fact that the fluoride content in groundwater largely depends on geological conditions. It is well known that the natural composition of elements in our environment (including bedrock, soil, water, and plants) may be the main cause for enriching or depleting these elements, and it could pose a direct threat to human health.
