Alnoor University bids farewell to one year and welcomes another in a unique celebration at the courtyards of Khan Al-Gumruk.

On the final evening of 2024, Alnoor University held a grand celebratory carnival, choosing Khan Al-Gumruk as the venue due to its status as one of Mosul's iconic heritage landmarks. The event revived the scene of the city's old life, showcasing its markets, professions, and unique atmosphere. A large traditional crafts market was set up alongside modern stalls for small business owners, creating a unique scene that bridged the recent past with the present. Nearby, artistic troupes performed, playing music and singing under a sky illuminated by fireworks, all awaiting the stroke of midnight to celebrate the passing of the old year and the arrival of the new one.
