The Translation and Archaeological Tourism at Alnoor University: Experiencing the Spirit of Languages and the Pulse of History on a Field Visit.
Alnoor University strives to provide its students in the humanities with a tangible, field-based understanding of the landmarks and locations relevant to their field of study. As part of this initiative, a live visit was organized for students from the Departments of Translation and Archaeological Tourism at the College of education to the French Cultural Institute and the Nineveh Wall. The visit took place on Sunday, January 12, 2025. During the visit, the institute provided students with the opportunity to engage in live discussions with experts in the French language and gain insight into the institute’s activities. Additionally, the visit to the Nineveh Wall offered a direct view of a historical landmark, showcasing the skill of ancient civilizations and helping students understand how they defended their cities, imbuing them with a dignity befitting their heritage.
