Digital Media students at Alnoor University: An openness to the world of languages and a glimpse into the heritage of our ancient ancestors.
Alnoor University is committed to providing a suitable academic environment for its students to continue their learning by offering practical opportunities that broaden their knowledge and equip them with the necessary experience. This knowledge is particularly crucial for the students of the Digital Media Department, given the global changes driven by the technological revolution that has established the digital world. Therefore, the university organized a field visit for these students to the French Cultural Institute, one of the gateways to the world that is now within their reach. The visit also included the ancient Nineveh Wall, a part of the bright past created by the inventive Iraqis, who planted the seeds of everlasting distinction. This visit was organized at the suggestion of the department and with the approval of the College of education ’s Dean’s office. It was supervised by Dr. Nabil Nooruddin, Assistant Dean of the College of Arts, specializing in Assyrian civilization and cuneiform writing, along with Dr. Mohammed Zohair Zidan , a faculty member at the university. Also present was the archaeologist Omar Khalil, Assistant Director of the Nineveh Antiquities Inspection, along with several faculty members who accompanied the students during the visit.
