تعد مكتبة الجامعة احدى الركائز المهمة التي تصب في خدمة المسيرة العلمية، فبدونها يصعب لطالب العلم أن ينجز عمله في البحث والدراسة، فالمكتبة هي منهل العلم والمتعلمين، ولهذا سعت جامعة النور الى إنشاء مكتبة تضم عدداً من الكتب المتعلقة بمختلف الاختصاصات والعلوم والأدب، فضلاً عن الرسائل والأطاريح الجامعية، والدوريات والمجلات العالمية، وتتعدد مصادر تزويد المكتبة بأحدث الكتب والمناهج العلمية، فبعضها يتم تزويده من خلال عمادة الكلية، والبعض الآخر يأتي على شكل إهداءات وتبرعات من الأساتذة التدريسيين أو الموظفين أو الطلبة أو جهات أخرى، لتكون في متناول أيدي المستفيدين من طلبة العلم والباحثين.

The library follows an open-shelf system, allowing users to have close access to the books relevant to their fields of study or those closely related to them, instead of the formalities imposed by the closed-shelf system. The library is divided into various sections and specializations, including medical and scientific books and research, law and political science books, Arabic language and literature, novels, sports and physical activities, psychology, and religious books.

The university library consists of a spacious hall with several tables, which students visit daily in search of peace and quiet. They spend most of their time there to study, review their curricula, or enjoy their free time reading novels, stories, and the like.

وفي إطار الجهود المتواصلة من أجل تطوير عمل المكتبة، تسعى جامعة النور الى أرشفة الكتب الكترونياً كخطوة أولى في طريق إنشاء مكتبة الكترونية تضم أحدث الاصدارات العالمية من الكتب والمراجع.
