General Admission Requirements for the Academic Year (2024/2025) at Alnoor University

1. The applicant must hold an Iraqi high school certificate or an equivalent certificate verified by the Directorate of Education in the province, in accordance with the specific admission requirements for each field of study.

2. Applicants for morning study programs must be born in (1994) or later, while those born in (1993) or earlier are eligible to apply for evening study programs.

3. Graduates of vocational centers (such as Al-Mu'tasim Center, Al-Waleed Center, and Al-Mu'taz Center) and other vocational centers with a three-year study program who have completed the Ministry's (baccalaureate) exams are eligible to apply to private universities and colleges, based on the admission requirements for each specific field.

4. Applicants must be dedicated to full-time study and may not work and study simultaneously in morning programs, including those employed in any government institutions. Continuing study requires an official study leave from their employer. Students are also prohibited from enrolling in two different study programs simultaneously; violations may result in admission cancellation as per the Ministry of Private Higher Education regulations.

The student must pass a medical examination according to the specific requirements for each field of study. Accepted students in private universities and colleges are required to undergo either a Complete Blood Count (CBC)or ( Electrophori is – Hb ) at designated medical centers. Student with Vision Loss (who meet the specified conditions) are permitted to apply for suitable humanities programs.

6- The student accepted into government universities and colleges has the right to apply for admission into private universities and colleges according to the electronic form and the principle of comparison according to the inputs and application conditions for the year (2024/2025).

7- Students from the Kurdistan Region who are graduates of primary school (recognized by the Ministry of Education) are eligible to apply to private universities and colleges.

The payment mechanism is approved in the Accounting Division of the university, consisting of four installments of the annual tuition fees.

The student wishing to obtain a discount on tuition fees submits a written request to the office of the university president, detailing the reasons for their desire for a reduction in fees. The request is then referred to the relevant committee.

The student's request for a reduction in tuition fees has been presented to the relevant committee for review, where the student's situation, the reasons for the discount request, and the applicability of the discount conditions to the student's case will be assessed.

The procedure announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Directorate of Private University Education / Central Admission is adopted according to admission channels (People with Disabilities and Special Needs - Free Scholarships - Study in Iraq Initiative) designated for (Arab) and (foreign) students, as outlined in the Student Guide for Admission to Private Universities and Colleges in Iraq.

Through the university’s main pages on social media platforms, classified ads for job vacancies in the public and private sectors that match the qualifications of university graduates are posted.
