Scholarships

Alnoor University announces its admission plan for non-Iraqi students for the 2023/2024 academic year, in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through the "Study in Iraq" initiative. In line with the instructions of the President of Alnoor University, Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, a link has been launched for non-Iraqi students who wish to complete their undergraduate studies at our university.
In the same context, Alnoor University announced the completion of its plan to welcome non-Iraqi students, which includes offering free scholarships across various colleges of the university. This initiative aims to promote cultural exchange and elevate the academic level by accepting students from different nationalities, with three seats allocated per specialty, totaling 39 seats.

The media office at Alnoor University stated that the plan includes the following specializations:

College of Health and Medical Technologies includes:

Department of Anesthesia Techniques
 Department of Radiological Techniques
 Department of Optics Techniques
Department of Dental Prosthetics Techniques
 College of Law
 College of Education
Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences
 Department of English Language
 Department of Arabic Language
College of Engineering
Department of Construction Engineering and Project Management
Department of Petroleum Engineering


Please note that the start date for scholarship applications and receipt of nominations is March 15, 2023, and the final deadline for receiving scholarship applications is July 12, 2023. 

Application Procedure for International Students at the University

1- Applications from foreign students are submitted through a special link provided by the Registration and Student Affairs Department by filling out the student information form.
2- The university's Registration Department attaches the data of the applicants.
3-The names of the shortlisted students will be sent to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up for the purpose of granting entry visas.
4- After obtaining the necessary approvals and granting entry visas from the Ministry of Interior, the student will be notified to visit the university and the college they have been accepted into to begin their studies. Once the student’s arrival is confirmed, they will be received at the airport.
