In the Presence of Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Alnoor University, and Prof. Dr. Munir Al-Badrani, Assistant President of Mosul University for Scientific Affairs, as well as Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdulwahab, Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs, the International Scientific Workshop on Academic and Technical Collaboration in Sustainable Energy Technologies within the SolAware Project was Held at Alnoor University. The workshop, a collaboration between Alnoor University, Mosul University, and Teesside University, UK, took place on the morning of Tuesday, October 15, 2024. It focused on discussing aspects of sustainable development and renewable energies.
The workshop began with an opening speech by the project manager, focusing on introducing collaboration projects with British universities. This was followed by a presentation outlining the main activities of the project, along with an introduction to solar energy technology. A second presentation highlighted the role of nanotechnology in the advancement of solar cell technology. A discussion session was then held under the theme "Renewable Energy is the Key to Sustainable Development." Finally, a presentation was given on the future of sustainable energy.
