The Women's Affairs Division at Alnoor University participates in the celebration of Human Rights Day.

In response to an invitation from the Human Rights Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights in Nineveh Governorate, Dr. Walaa Abdul Wahid Al-Jawadi, Head of the Women's Affairs Division at Alnoor University, participated in the celebration of Human Rights Day and the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
The event focused on women's rights and ways to combat violence against them, with an emphasis on international and national commitments in this field.
 The celebration took place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the headquarters of the High Commission for Human Rights in Mosul.
