A new book has been published by Dr. Abdaladeem Mahmood Mohamd a faculty member in the Department of Department of Petroleum Engineering College of Engineering Alnoor University. The book, titled "Exercises in Well Logging," is written in English and serves as a textbook for students in petroleum engineering, geology, and geophysics departments. The scientific content is divided into eleven chapters, each providing a brief explanation of a specific well logging method, followed by a series of exercises and problems. These are designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of how to use the charts associated with each method in a step-by-step and simplified manner. This approach helps in identifying the rock layers penetrated by the well, the types of fluids and barriers present, and in estimating porosity and permeability.
