. Dr. Isam M. Salih Yousif Najar a faculty member in the Department of Department of Petroleum Engineering College of Engineering Alnoor University, has published a book titled "Fundamentals of Reservoir Engineering." The book consists of six chapters. The first three chapters focus on the properties of oil and gas, such as density, viscosity, thermal expansion coefficient, and formation volume factor, as well as important laboratory tests for oil and gas that are crucial for engineering calculations. The remaining three chapters cover the essential properties of rocks, such as porosity, permeability, saturation, and the laboratory methods used to determine them. Additionally, the book addresses the mechanics involved in driving oil and gas to the surface during production, along with volumetric calculations of the quantities of oil and gas in reservoir formations.
