Alnoor University Continues Its Participation in the Erasmus Plus Conference on Its Second Day

The second day of the Erasmus Plus Conference continued at the University of Baghdad, with wide participation from representatives of Iraqi and European universities, as well as a number of researchers and experts in the field of higher education and international academic cooperation.
The morning sessions of the second day featured specialized workshops that addressed topics such as student exchange and the mechanisms of adopting European systems in applying for academic support programs, including Erasmus programs.
The events also included the presentation of practical experiences by several Arab and European universities participating in Erasmus Plus projects, with contributions highlighting the successes and challenges they encountered in implementing these projects and their impact on the modernization of scientific and research infrastructures.
In the afternoon session, participants discussed plans to expand future partnerships with European universities, particularly in areas of interest to the Erasmus organization, while emphasizing the importance of capacity building and enhancing the efficiency of Iraqi academic staff.
The second day concluded with recommendations emphasizing the need to maintain continuous communication between Iraqi and European universities through joint Erasmus Plus project platforms, and to further promote the engagement of students and faculty in
joint research and training activities. The second-day sessions of the conference were attended by Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismailthe Assistant President of Al-Noor University for Scientific Affairs, andDr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan,the Director of the Cultural Relations Department, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Nizar Aziz, Head of the Erasmus Plus Unit at the University Presidency.
