The Head of the Radiology Department at Alnoor University delivers a lecture on climate change as part of a joint activity in Nineveh Governorate.
Dr. Hanaa Al-Baroudi, Head of the Radiology Department at theCollege of Health and Medical Technologies Alnoor University, participated in a panel discussion held at the Engineers’ Syndicate Hall. The event was organized in coordination with the International Federation of Arab Businessmen and Women and Investors and in collaboration with the International Federation of Arab Academics, Nineveh Branch, under the title “Climate Change in Iraq: Causes and Solutions.” Dr. Al-Baroudi delivered a comprehensive presentation, beginning with an introduction to the concept of climate change and its consequences on Iraq’s environment, including global warming, reduced rainfall, rising temperatures, increased evaporation, and the expansion of desertified lands. The lecture was enriched with several audience interventions and was attended by researchers, professors, water resources engineering experts from Nineveh, and a number of media professionals.
