The Department of Cultural Relations at Alnoor University held a workshop on the European Union scholarship programs Erasmus+, which was conducted by Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan,Director of Cultural Relations at Alnoor UniversityAssistant lecturer Muhammad Nazar AzizHead of the Erasmus+ Unit in the same department, dedicated to introducing the mechanisms for benefiting from the European Union’s Erasmus+ scholarship programs
The workshop was held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, with the attendance of students, faculty members, and administrative staff from the university’s colleges and departments
During the workshop, a comprehensive explanation was provided of the university’s action plan aimed at activating the participation of its students and faculty members in European Union grant programs, and at leveraging the available study and training opportunities for students, faculty, and administrative staff at the university. The latest edition of the program will launch at the beginning of November 2025, and the application deadline is the end of February 2027
The attendees expressed their appreciation for this fruitful meeting, which enhances ways of academic cooperation between Alnoor University and European Union institutions
