The Translation Department at the University of Mosul visits Alnoor University and meets with the academic staff of its Translation Department

The Translation Department at Translate received College of arts On the morning of Tuesday, 2/12/2025, a scientific delegation from the Translation Department of the University of Mosul visited Alnoor University in an official visit aimed at strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two sides
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Alnoor University was present to welcome the delegation Professor Dr. wael ali ahmed ,accompanied by the Head of the Translation Department Assistant Professor Dr. Nidaa Salem Omar ,where they welcomed the visiting delegation and presented a comprehensive introductory presentation about the scientific structure of the Translation Department, its academic programs, and the developments it is witnessing at both the scientific and practical levels
The visit included an extensive tour of the language laboratories, simultaneous interpretation halls, and practical training centers, during which the delegation reviewed the available facilities and the mechanisms for student training. A scientific meeting was also held between the two sides to discuss a number of joint topics, most notably the development of students’ skills, organizing joint scientific activities, and exploring the possibility of implementing training and cooperative programs that contribute to enhancing students’ capabilities and supplying the labor market with advanced competencies in the field of translation.
This visit comes within the framework of the two sides’ efforts to strengthen scientific cooperation and exchange expertise in a way that serves the educational process and enhances the quality of the outcomes of translation programs at the two universities.
