Recently published by the faculty member mohammed subhi alobaidi ,Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language College of Education At Alnoor University, a new critical book has been released entitled :The Poetics of Fantasy in the New Arabic Novel.
The book’s content is structured into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter comprises four sections, while the second chapter includes three sections, in which the author presents an in-depth critical approach to the concept of fantasy and the mechanisms of its operation in contemporary Arabic narrative fiction
This publication aims to explore the artistic structure of fantasy and its aesthetic and semantic components through an applied study in which the author adopts the novel Cairo Maquette by the Egyptian novelist Tarek Imam as a literary model, considering it a coherent overall structure that aligns with the fantasy mode in the new Arabic novel
This book constitutes a qualitative addition to the Arabic critical library and a scholarly contribution that reflects the growing research activity of the teaching staff at Alnoor University in the fields of literary and critical studies.
