The Head of the Department of Surveying Engineering at Alnoor University chairs the committee for a master’s thesis defense at the University of Mosul

Professor Dr. Abdul Khaliq Mal Allah, Head of the Department of Surveying Engineering Technologies at presided over College of Technical Engineering, At Alnoor University, on the morning of Tuesday, December 23, 2025, a committee convened to discuss the master’s thesis of graduate student Naba Hazem Hassan, for her thesis entitled:
The effect of short-term, long-term, and extended aging on asphalt mixtures containing polydan waste as a filler material and the polymers ABS and SBS
which she submitted to the Department of Civil Engineering / Roads and Transportation specialization at the College of Engineering, University of Mosul
The discussion was held in the presence of the members of the scientific committee, along with a number of faculty members and researchers. The thesis addressed a study of the effect of different types of aging on improving the properties of asphalt mixtures using modern additives, due to their importance in enhancing the performance of pavements and increasing their service life
At the conclusion of the defense, the committee commended the scientific effort put into the thesis and the results the student achieved, and decided to accept the thesis after the required scientific remarks are addressed.
