In the context of promoting early engagement with fields of practical specialization, the Department of Interior Design at College of Applied Arts At Alnoor University, a field visit for second-year students to the Happy Childhood Foundation and Institute was conducted, under the supervision of the Dean of the College الأستاذ الدكتور نزار عبد اللطيف وبمشاركة تدريسيي القسم.
The visit aims to connect theoretical aspects with practical application, as a field exercise was conducted for the students covering methods for taking precise measurements of various spaces, including rooms, halls, and corridors, while taking into account the needs of children with special needs, with an emphasis on adapting designs to align with each child’s psychological aspects
The exercise aimed to enable the students to create comprehensive design scenes that consider both the human and functional aspects simultaneously, achieving a safe and comfortable environment for all children
At the conclusion of the visit, Alnoor University distributed gifts to the children of the institute, in a humanitarian gesture reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting this group and promoting social responsibility values among its students.
