In the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education, Alnoor University, a lecture was delivered on chemical interactions in therapy

In the presence of Professor Dr. Khzaal Fahti Zaidan Dean of the College of Education . At Alnoor University, under the supervision of Dr. Hadi Muhammad Amhimed, Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, and Professor Dr. Diya Alsabha, Head of the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education at Al-Nour University organized a scientific lecture on Tuesday morning, 24/2/2026, entitled “Chemical Interactions in Therapy”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Younes Masoud Abdul-Hamid.
The lecture addressed the concept of chemical interactions between drugs and various substances, and their impact on treatment efficacy and patient safety, highlighting the mechanisms of chemical reactions within the body and how to avoid side effects resulting from misuse or unplanned combinations of medications.
The lecture was attended by a number of the university’s faculty members and students, where emphasis was placed on the importance of scientific awareness of these interactions, given their fundamental role in medical and pharmaceutical fields, and in enhancing academic knowledge by linking it to practical applications.
