The Alnoor Center for Smart Agricultural Research at Alnoor University organizes a scientific workshop on modern technologies in agriculture

With the attendance of the Assistant Scientific President of Alnoor University and the Deans of the Colleges of Arts and Education, the Alnoor Center for Smart Agriculture Research and Sustainable Production at Alnoor University, in collaboration with the University of Mosul, organized on Saturday, 28/3/2026, a scientific workshop titled:
(The role of artificial intelligence technologies in developing smart agricultural systems and achieving agricultural sustainability), under the supervision of the center director, Dr. Walid Badr aldin allela.
The workshop witnessed the delivery of specialized scientific lectures, presented by the lecturer Mustafa Nazim Qaba, Head of the Entrepreneurship Division at the University of Mosul Presidency, and the assistant lecturer Zainab Tarek from the same university. They discussed the most prominent applications of artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector, its role in improving agricultural productivity, reducing waste, and promoting the concepts of sustainability.
The workshop also discussed the importance of employing modern technologies to address agricultural challenges, and developing smart agricultural systems capable of supporting food security and achieving sustainable development. It also highlighted the enhancement of scientific cooperation between universities and research institutions in this vital field.
