The convening of the first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council at the College of Pharmacy – University of Alnoor
held College of Pharmacy At Alnoor University, on the morning of Saturday, 4/4/2026, the first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council was held, chaired by Asst. prof. Omer Qutaiba BaderAldeen Allela , The Dean of the College, in the presence of several members of the College Council, the Quality Assurance Officer, and representatives of the health and pharmaceutical sectors, held the meeting as part of strengthening integration between educational outcomes and labor market needs. The meeting included the reading of the administrative order for forming the council, introducing its members to one another, and reviewing its objectives and authorities. The participants also discussed the current outputs of the college and the extent to which they align with labor market requirements, in addition to exploring ways to develop summer and practical training programs for the college students. The meeting was attended by a number of council members and representatives of external entities, including:
Pharmacist Ahmed Hazem Aziz, Pharmacist Muthanna Nizar Qasim, Pharmacist Anmar Qutaiba Younis, Pharmacist Mahmoud Abdul Hafidh, and Mr. Abdulrahman Dhunoon Yousuf.
The Dean of the College affirmed that the formation of the Industrial Advisory Council represents a strategic step toward developing academic programs, enhancing the quality of education, and strengthening cooperation with the health and industrial sectors, thereby contributing to the preparation of graduates who possess the competence and professional readiness required.
